Eligibility is no longer the constraint. Capital is.

Siesta Capital advises solar developers and construction contractors on the structuring, arrangement and placement of investment-grade capital that moves qualified projects to notice to proceed.

What changes when the credit is not the project

01
01

Cost of capital

Capital priced to an investment-grade credit rather than to a development-stage sponsor. The difference is not incremental.

02

Speed

Weeks rather than months. No independent engineer, no model audit, no construction or completion underwriting, no intercreditor negotiation.

03

Certainty

Funding that is committed and repeatable, rather than conditional on the next diligence cycle.

The new asset classes

Siesta Capital was founded by John Barry, who has twice created a market where none existed — using investment-grade credit enhancement to fund what conventional lenders would not.

About the firm

A closed universe

02

Every project that will be built with a 30% credit already exists today. It has a sponsor, a site, an interconnection position and a documented start of construction established before July 4, 2026. No project that starts now joins the cohort.

All of them share one boundary: placed in service by December 31, 2030. Counting backwards through construction, that leaves roughly ten quarters in which financings have to close.

What separates the projects that get built from the ones that do not is no longer eligibility. It is access to capital at a cost the asset can carry.
